    No, we work with families at all stages, with or without a diagnosis. Our focus is on understanding and supporting your child as they are. Parent Coaching focuses on strategies and understanding, not labels.
  • Can you support with school-related challenges?
    Yes, we can support you in navigating school meetings, understanding your rights, and communicating effectively with school staff to get your child the accommodations they need.
  • How is coaching different from therapy or parent training?
    Coaching is future-focused and practical, designed to empower you with tools and insights. Unlike therapy, we don't treat mental health conditions; this would be covered within our Psychotherapy services. And unlike parent training, our coaching is collaborative and personalised, not one-size-fits-all!
  • What is neurodiversity-affirming parent coaching?
    Neurodiversity-affirming parent coaching helps parents understand and support their neurodivergent child by embracing their unique brain. It's strengths-based, holistic, and offers practical tools for everyday family life.
  • What is neuro-affirming psychotherapy?
    Psychotherapy is a safe and confidential space where children and young people can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with the support of a trained therapist. Our approach is relational, neurodiversity-affirming, and led by the needs of each child. The therapist has an up-to-date understanding of neurodivergence.
  • What is your approach to behavior challenges?
    We use a collaborative, compassionate approach that views behaviour as communication. Our coaching helps you uncover underlying needs and create supportive environments rather than relying on punishment or rewards.
  • Is information shared during sessions confidential?
    Yes, confidentiality is respected in line with ethical guidelines. With the exception of safeguarding concerns, where we have a legal duty to act. We will make it clear during contracting what the expectations are and how you will be updated on progress.
  • What happens in a first session?
    In our first meeting, we’ll: Get to know you and your child or teenager Talk about what’s been going on and what kind of support you’re hoping for Explain how we work and answer any questions Agree on a plan that feels manageable and supportive You don’t have to have it all figured out. We’ll work together, step by step.
  • Where do sessions take place?
    We offer in-person sessions, online sessions, and site visits depending on the service and your preference.
  • Does your service take insurance payments?
    At the moment, we do not take insurance as a form of payment. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss this further.
  • What is neurodiversity coaching?
    Neurodiversity coaching is a personalised, strengths-based approach to support individuals who think and process differently, such as those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or other neurodivergent traits. Coaching focuses on practical tools, self-awareness, and empowerment.
  • Do I need a diagnosis to access neurodiversity coaching?
    No, we take a needs-based approach to all our services and support anyone who identifies as neurodivergent or believes they could benefit from this style of coaching. We work with you to identify your unique strengths and differences, developing tailored strategies and techniques that work for you.
  • Who is neurodiversity coaching for?
    Coaching is for neurodivergent individuals of all ages; students, professionals, or anyone seeking support. We also work with parents, caregivers, and employers looking to better support a neurodivergent person.
  • Is coaching the same as therapy?
    No. Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented, while therapy often addresses past trauma or mental health issues. Coaching can complement therapy, but it is not a replacement.
  • How do I get started?

    We provide neurodiversity-informed consultancy, including training, reflective practice sessions, environment audits, and strategy development to promote inclusive practice.
  • Do you offer ongoing support for staff teams?
    Yes, we can deliver one-off sessions or ongoing support through termly reflective practice groups, supervision for SENCOs/pastoral staff, or bespoke consultancy.
  • Can you provide outreach coaching and psychotherapy?
    Yes, we can consult with your school or community to provide the appropriate support that you are looking for. As children and young people spend most of their time in school, school-based support can be helpful if it is the primary need.
